Some of our friends have been bugging us to put some live stuff on the web site. So, here it is. They are examples of what people can expect at a typical Blue Moon Highway show. Note: These are just rough samples taken off a roving video camera at various shows at Duff's Garage, Sauvie Island, the 4th of July Dance in Dayville and Savino's out in Hood River. We think of them as Blue Moon Highway's "Home Movies," nothing more, nothing less.
The sound quality is reminiscent of the old "bootleg" albums from the late sixties and early seventies concerts, those see-through vinyl albums that were red, blue, green and amber. Some of them were recorded right off the board; others on either a reel-to-reel or cassette recorder by someone sitting in the audience. Hiss is good...remember analog? Anyway, along with us playing, you'll hear people talking and laughing, ice cubes tinkling in glasses...all the regular sounds you hear in a bar. Enjoy!
Another Note: We are getting songs together to record a "sho nuff" REAL CD...you know, professional and everything. Not sure when, but we're heading in that direction.
