"Dear Mike and Blue Moon Highway: Thank you so much for coming out and playing for us at the 5th Annual Relay For Life of Beaverton. Your great music, energy, and enthusiasm kept the spirits high as our Relayers walked miles around the track for cancer. We look forward to welcoming you back to the 6th Annual Relay For Life of Beaverton and sharing with all we know of your wonderful talent. You are incredible musicians and performers! Thank you for helping make our event a success."
"Mike and the band provides more than just great music. Their high energy and enthusiasm keeps you going all night long!"

"Mike, Thanks so much for playing at the Boring Farmers' Market. We were lucky to have a band of your caliber play at our small (but growing) market. Great music really adds to the energy and fun of the day. The crowd loved you and we can't wait to see you perform again - hopefully in our area....We'd love you to play at the Full Moon Bar & Grill - we'd ensure there is a full house!! Good luck! Thanks again. We really appreciate you coming out and hope that we'll meet again! "
Take care,
Katrin Arn

We were so impressed that we hope you will support us next year (one way or another)! I would recommend Blue Moon Highway to anyone and can't wait to hear you guys play again!! Thank you so much, again, for supporting our fight against cancer! I would wish you all luck but none is necessary! You will all go far in the entertainment business! Thanks!"

Uniqueness : Blue Moon Highway is a unique act, perfect for your next event. We play "Country Music...and then some" with a unique Portland, Oregon feel. We are different than most other bands in that we have multiple lead singers, not just one. We have a rhythm section mentality, and are quite happy backing whomever is taking the front position at any given time. This allows our sound to be diverse, because we all sing differently.
Music and Song Catalog: We play "Country Music...and then some." Our "Country Music" evokes the twang of Austin and Bakersfield, while the "...and then some" brings together the British Invasion, early and classic Rock and Roll, blues, folk and some "oldies." If you are interested in "Country Music...and then some," then hire us. We are not a "cover band" in the classic sense, as we also have an ever-growing catalog of original tunes that have a comfortable familiarity. This wide variety of styles is great for all types of social events such as birthdays, anniversaries, night clubs, corporate functions, festivals, picnics and weddings. For audio/video samples, click here.
More than just great music, we will get you and yours out on the dance floor and keep everyone dancing and having fun. The music and presentation will keep you and your guests entertained throughout the event. We will work closely with you or your events coordinator to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible, so you'll never have to worry.
Sound Equipment: We have our own high-end sound system. We're always complimented on our appropriate volume levels, and professional mix quality. While we do play loud at large clubs, County Fairs and Music Festivals, we also play "unplugged" shows where quiet conversations can be carried out just a few feet from the band. We can adjust our sound system for different sized venues.
Philosophy: We believe strongly in delivering the experience desired by the folks who hire us. If "Country Music...and then some" is what you need for your event, we'll make sure to deliver exactly what you contract for. We are clean and professional - families and charitable organizations love us.
Location: Portland, Oregon greater metropolitan area. (And with enough notice, the I-5 corridor from Eugene to Seattle.) We do play from time to time in the Hood River area, as well as Oregon's high desert.
Availablity: Clubs, Casinos, Parties, County Fairs, Art and Wine Festivals, Beer Festivals, Street Festivals, Chamber of Commerce Street events, Coffee Shops, Hotels, Restaurants, Resorts, Day Cruise Ships, Reunions, Country Clubs, Ski Lodges, Birthday Parties, Awards Nights, Fund Raisers, Anniversaries, Dinner Dances, Graduation Parties, Grand Openings, Banquets, Showers, Bachelor Parties, Bachelorette Parties (our personal favorite), Picnics, Christmas, Weddings, Private Parties, Fraternity and Sorority Functions, Corporate Functions, Festivals, Community Events, Conventions, etc.
Performing Since: 2003
Pay Range: Each engagement is different with its own set of dynamics involved (time of the year, distance from Portland, duration, etc.), therefore we cannot quote an exact rate for all bookings on this web site. We usually book ourselves, saving the cost of an agency fee. Sometimes we will use agents that are usually friends or fans of the band, and they will treat the situation with the same respect for professionalism and value to the client that we do.
